 Marcos
Benetti – Although he is not an official business
partner or owner, Marcos is the namesake and
creative inspiration of the
coffee house. Marcos is always good for a story or a
joke. To him, life is all about the experience. It’s
quite possible that Marcos’ love of specialty coffee
is located in his DNA, as he is the son of an Italian
father and a Costa Rican mother. His parents
immigrated to the United States to establish an import
and export business of fine products to the different
ethnic communities there. Marcos had some success
marketing a product overseas in the late 1980’s, and
has spent several years traveling, consulting and
investing here and there. Now, he’s bringing his
experiences to a little coffeehouse in Raytown. You
